Human Diploid Cell Low-serum Medium
ToCell has developed ToCell® HDC SLM-A low serum cell culture medium, free from animal-derived components, for high-density adherent culture of human diploid cells, primarily MRC5 and 2BS cells.
● Animal-free components
● Faster cell growth, higher expansion rate
● Reduced serum addition, from 10% to 3%–5% newborn bovine serum, minimizing batch screening efforts
● Ready for direct replacement of conventional media, providing optimal morphology in low serum culture for human diploid cells
Applicable for the low serum high-density adherent culture environment of human diploid cells, meeting production requirements for varicella, rabies, Japanese encephalitis, and hepatitis A vaccines.
