Go all out to ensure customer production progress

In January, the national sow inventory continued to rise and pig production recovered steadily. In order to implement the requirements of the Central Document No. 1 on "accelerating the recovery of pig production and ensuring that pig production capacity basically returns to the level of normal years before the end of 2020", Wuhan Keqian Biological decided to expand its existing production capacity and add a new 300L bioreactor to meet vaccine production needs.

      February 25-Accepting orders and communicating requirements

ToCell received a purchase request for a 300L bioreactor from Wuhan Keqian Biotechnology. The sales department urgently organized a meeting with the reactor engineering department and the logistics support department to discuss the matter.

Two major problems facing us!

1. Whether the existing 300L bioreactor meets the customer's URS requirements;

2. How to ensure logistics during the epidemic.

After multiple communications and confirmations with Keqian Bio, the company's existing 300L bioreactor fully meets its URS requirements, and the reactor engineering department immediately arranged for equipment inspection and confirmation. However, since Keqian Bio is located in Wuhan, the hardest-hit area of ​​the epidemic, it is inconvenient for personnel to enter and exit, and it is impossible to complete installation and commissioning at the customer's site. Considering that Keqian Bio has multiple sets of ToCell bioreactors, which have been in normal use for many years and are quite familiar with the performance of our reactors, after communicating and confirming with the customer, it was decided to guide the installation of the 300L bioreactor by recording installation wiring videos and real-time videos.

      February 26-Debugging and assembly

The distance from Suzhou to Wuhan is more than 800 kilometers, and under normal circumstances, logistics only takes 2 days to arrive. Due to the severe epidemic, the original logistics supplier suspended logistics services in Wuhan. Colleagues from the Logistics Support Department contacted and communicated with many parties and finally found a logistics company that transported disaster relief materials, which could be sent to Wuhan on the 28th.

Debugging & Assembly

      February 28 - Loading and delivery

After confirming the logistics, all departments took immediate action, starting from reactor function verification and debugging, recording reactor installation and wiring video, to disassembly and packaging, compressing the normal week's workload into two working days.

      The truck was delivered to Keqian Company at 13:00 on the afternoon of the 29th, and the installation and commissioning were completed recently.
